Welcome to episode #3 of NBL Canada Live “The Podcast”!

This week Carlan Gay & Audley Stephenson AKA TheAudman take you around another big week in the National Basketball League of Canada.

We saw the 11 game record breaking streak of the London Lightning end at the hands of the Oshawa while the Miracles continue to slide with their 3rd loss in a row. Speaking of 3, how about those Saint John Mill Rats picking up their third consecutive win!

Definitely a big week!

The guys will welcome Nick Okorie to the show who was named for the first time the “Recharge With Milk” Player of the Week for the week ending December 16, 2012. 

He had a great week in which averaged 27 points per game including a team high 38 points in Oshawa’s 105-101 victory over the division-leading London Lightning, as Oshawa handed their provincial rivals their first regular-season loss. 

After chatting with Nick, Carlan & TheAudman check in with the very excited owner of the brand new Ottawa franchise, Gus Takkale. They play their first game next season and he fills in the guys on his strategy on building a winning franchise, his love for the game and the progress made on finding a name for his team.
