Here’s what happened in the National Basketball League of Canada last night.

Windsor Top Performers

Mike Helms - 29 pts (11-17), 5-5 FT, 6 rebs

Darren Duncan - 20 pts, 5 rebs, 8 ast, 1 stl

Moncton Top Performers

Devin Sweetney - 21 pts (6-14), 4 rebs, 4 ast, 2 stl

Micah Brand - 20 pts, 12-16 FT, 3 rebs, 2 blk

The Windsor Express finished off their six game road trip on a high note.  After splitting games with the Summerside Storm in their previous two matchups,  the Express were led by Mike Helms and Darren Duncan in a 102-96 victory over the Moncton Miracles at the Moncton Coliseum.

Moncton was held to just 34% shooting and lost the battle of the boards 61-53.  Moncton forward and NBL Canada leading scorer, Devin Sweetney, led the Miracles with 21 points.  Newly acquired Canadian-US dual citizen Micah Brand, scored 20 points in his Miracles debut.  It was Moncton’s first home loss in five games and currently hold an 8-6 record.   

This was Windsor’s fourth win of the season and play three of their next four at home.
